Brant A. Losinski was born in Alpena, Michigan, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan in 2003. He received his Master of Arts in English Composition and Rhetoric from the University of Michigan-Flint in 2011, and taught as a professor of English Composition at Mott Community College, and Lansing Community College, before entering law school in Detroit in 2016. Brant graduated from Wayne State Law in 2019, and interned with ACLU of Michigan, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Great Lakes Environmental Law Center of Detroit. He was awarded the Judge Philip J. Glennie Law Student Scholarship, and the American Indian Law Section Scholarship from the State Bar of Michigan. Brant lives in Ann Arbor, and enjoys spending time with his wife Keri and daughter Lilly, cooking at home, and watching Michigan football.
